Two studies are presented where a method for measuring and visualizing resilience engineering in a railway domain is developed. In Study 1 a new questionnaire measuring resilience abilities of an organizational function were tested for descriptive purposes. In Study 2, the questionnaire was used proactively where the aim was to predict resilience abilities after an organizational change. The result from the two studies shows that resilience abilities may be measured and visualized effectively both for descriptive and predictive purposes. Implications for the HTO-perspective and future development are discussed.
