The stability of the electrical network in Denmark varies in correspondence with the usage of the consumer. At peek usage the stability is secured by backup networks which are more expensive. Normally the consumers have no awareness of this, even though the price of the electricity varies from times with low consumption to high consumption. A simple electrical unit could help monitoring this perspective automatically, and thereby prevent peak situations on the electrical network. This will protect the consumer from overpriced electricity by mainly exploiting the power while the price is relatively low.
