The Engineering College of Aarhus changed the overall evaluation procedure from a traditional questionnaire approach, to a procedure that ensured keeping the courses, and learning activities vital and dynamic. The main purpose for this change was a profound wish to emphasise the teacher’s ongoing work to elaborate on course descriptions and learning objectives. The evaluations should maintain focus on how teaching methods contribute to optimize student learning and engagement, and to initiate a dialog with students to get them more active in the evaluation procedure.
